About The Event

SGLN Global Village, facilitating the return stint of the Overseas Transition Support programme, celebrates cultural diversity and promotes global understanding through interactive experiences and knowledge sharing.

OTS Programme Overview
  • Overseas Transition Support (OTS) is a bespoke, structured programme designed to support professionals who are intending to work overseas, have secured overseas roles with their companies, or are already based abroad, as they prepare for success in global markets.
  • SGLN is managed by the Human Capital Leadership Institute (HCLI) and supported by the Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB). OTS is also supported by the Singapore Global Network (SGN).

In Conversation with Alexander Kleinberg

  • Alexander Kleinberg

    General Manager, Singapore, Wonderful

    Alexander Kleinberg is the General Manager, Singapore at Wonderful, where he leads the company’s growth and enterprise AI strategy in one of Asia-Pacific’s most advanced technology markets.

    Alexander brings more than 25 years of leadership experience leading multinational tech companies in international markets. Prior to joining Wonderful, he was the Founder and CEO of mobility startup Edde, and held Asia-Pacific executive leadership roles at Twitter (now X), MoPub, and Facebook (now Meta). Alexander led Google’s commercial expansion into Asia, founded the APAC headquarters in Singapore, and managed business development teams across Asia and North America.

    Beyond his corporate leadership experience, Alexander has contributed to Singapore’s technology ecosystem through board appointments with GovTech Singapore and the Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore, supporting initiatives that advance digital transformation and innovation.

  • Eleina Ailmchandani

    Senior Investment Manager Mirova
    (Natixis Investment Managers)

    Eleina Ailmchandani is an infrastructure finance specialist with 15 years of experience in energy transition. 

    Currently a Senior Investment Manager at Mirova Singapore, she deploys blended finance across Asian emerging markets. She previously held senior roles at Mizuho Bank and the World Bank Group, financing renewable and e-mobility projects across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. A true global nomad, she has lived and worked in Washington D.C. (US), London (UK), Dakar (Senegal), Pune and Bengaluru (India), and Singapore. Eleina holds a double Bachelor’s degree from Singapore Management University and a Master’s in International Economics from Johns Hopkins SAIS. 

  • Benedict Wu

    Vice President of Marketing, Asia Pacific, UPS

    Benedict Wu is Vice President of Marketing, Asia Pacific at UPS, where he leads commercial strategy, revenue quality and go-to-market execution across Greater China, North Asia, South Asia, and India. These markets form one of the most diverse and commercially complex regions in the UPS global network. He is also a Fellow of the Singapore Leaders Network (2025).

    With close to a decade at UPS, Benedict has held progressive leadership roles across strategy, marketing, and commercial management. His previous roles include Director of Strategy for Asia Pacific and Director of Marketing for Greater China, where he guided commercial growth during a particularly challenging period in geopolitical relations.
    Before joining UPS, Benedict began his career building market entry operations from ground up across Southeast Asia. This experience shaped a hands-on and pragmatic leadership style that he continues to bring to his work today.
    He holds a double degree in Business Management and Accountancy from Singapore Management University as well as an Advanced Certificate in Supply Chain Management from MITx. He has spent the past 5 years living and working in extended postings in Taiwan and Mainland China with his family.

  • Camy Loh

    Managing Director, Pengerang Independent Terminals, Royal Vopak

    Camy is the Managing Director of Pengerang Independent Terminals in Malaysia, one of Southeast Asia’s key energy and petrochemical storage hubs.

    She has over 15 years of leadership experience spanning commercial, operations, and maritime infrastructure investments across Singapore, Thailand, and Malaysia. She holds an Executive Master’s in Finance from HEC Paris and a Bachelor of Science (Economics) from Singapore Management University. Prior to joining Royal Vopak in 2014, she worked in commercial roles with Unilever and Peninsula Petroleum.

    Throughout her career with Royal Vopak, Camy has held leadership positions across the region. She previously served as Deputy Managing Director and Executive Board Director of Thai Tank Terminal, a joint venture between Royal Vopak, PTT GC, and Gulf Energy, where she helped lead one of Thailand’s largest independent petrochemical terminals. Before relocating to Thailand, she held dual roles as Commercial Director (Chemicals & Gas) and General Manager of Vopak Gas Terminal in Singapore, overseeing more than one million cubic metres of storage capacity across three terminals.

    Camy has successfully led major commercial partnerships and capital investment projects throughout her career. She is also a graduate of the Director Certification Program by the Thai Institute of Directors. Outside of work, she enjoys staying active through the gym, tennis, and golf.

  • Estelle Ang

    Moderator
    Senior Business Development Manager, Rohde & Schwarz Asia

    Estelle is a Senior Business Development Manager at Rohde & Schwarz, with over fifteen years of cross-regional experience across the Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) industry in global markets.

    Her career across diverse regions gives her a firsthand understanding of the challenges and opportunities that come with building an international career. Estelle is a champion of steward leadership, driven by a belief in supporting the growth of others and building a better community future beyond her own career. She is an early SGLN ambassador and serves as a mentor with the Young Women’s Leadership Connection (YWLC). Beyond these roles, Estelle speaks regularly at international industry events across Asia Pacific.

  • Leen Ler

    Head of Operations,
    Asia Middle East & Head of Talent, Singapore, HSBC

    Leen is an Enterprise Talent Specialist with over a decade at HSBC, currently leading Talent Operations across Asia Middle East markets and Talent for Singapore.

    She’s known for translating strategy into disciplined execution—combining strong governance with practical, people-first delivery across hiring, onboarding and mobility.

    Leen has led complex multi-market transformation, including the rollout of talent technology and process improvements that strengthen consistency, scalability and stakeholder experience across diverse markets.

  • Lee Murphy

    Chief Human Resources Officer, Asia Pacific Sompo

    Lee Murphy is the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) for Sompo Asia Pacific, leading people and organizational initiatives across 11 markets.

    A seasoned HR executive, Lee has extensive global experience advising C-suite Leaders and Boards, as well as leading teams to design and implement Strategic HR initiatives. With a career spanning over 25 years, Lee has held senior roles at global technology companies such as Google, Microsoft, and Nokia, as well as at pan-Asian insurer FWD prior to Sompo. His expertise spans the full spectrum of HR, including people and organizational strategy, transformational change, leadership coaching, talent management, inclusion and diversity, HR technology, employee experience, and organizational development initiatives. Lee holds a Master of Business Employment Relations from the University of Technology Sydney, Australia and is a mentor for the HCLI Singapore Leaders Network. He has lived in Australia, Japan, Brazil, Finland, Hong Kong and currently resides in Singapore

  • Malini Vaidya

    Partner and Head, Private Equity Business, Asia Pacific, Spencer Stuart

    Malini Vaidya is the Co-Chair of the Women’s Corporate Director (WCD) chapter for Singapore.  The WCD believes that corporations with a diverse population and (more) women on boards will outperform their competitors in bringing higher shareholder value. She currently serves on the Board Audit Committee and Governance Task Force for Spencer Stuart.

    Professionally, Malini has most recently led Spencer Stuart’s business in Asia Pacific as the region manager for five years and served on the Global Leadership Team of the firm.  She is now co-leading the firm’s global Private Equity business with a focus on APAC. Malini focuses on Board governance and CEO succession advisory across the region. She is also a member of the firm’s Financial Services and Consumer industry practices, given the focus of Private Equity and Sovereign Wealth funds, where she spends her time.

    Before entering human capital advisory, Malini was an international banker and served as the India head of business development for cash management services in the corporate financial services group of ANZ Grindlays Bank.  Prior to that, she was also a senior deal and relationship originator within the corporate and investment banking groups of the ANZ Bank in the United States and India, focusing on the TMT and financial services industries. Malini also served as strategic adviser within ANZ Grindlays as a member of the core McKinsey-Grindlays team.

    A Singaporean, Malini holds an honours bachelor’s degree in economics from St. Xavier’s College at Bombay University, and two master’s degrees in finance and in economics from Northeastern University in Boston.

    Malini recently completed her term as Director on Singapore’s National Diversity Action Committee, set up under the aegis of the Ministry of Social and Family Development for the purpose of enhancing board diversity in the country. She currently serves as an Independent Board Director of the Singapore Institute of Management Group (SIM Group).

Her extensive track record — guiding enterprise HR transformations, massive digital overhauls at enterprise giants like GSK and Sanofi and high-value M&As and IPOs at consumer tech like eBay and Goto Group—equips her with a sophisticated understanding of how to navigate geopolitical friction and localized cultural expectations.

    A trusted advisor to boards and executive teams, Lynette approaches leadership with a rare blend of data-informed strategic foresight and genuine empathy.
