About The Event
As AI, geopolitical shifts and near-term business pressures compete for leadership attention, sustainability is increasingly being asked to prove its relevance in a more crowded agenda.
At the third workshop of the SGLN Fellowship 2026, Fellows explored what it takes to make sustainability more durable — not simply as an ambition, but as a consideration that remains embedded in business, investment and policy decisions even as priorities shift.
The session brought together four senior leaders offering perspectives from across the sustainability ecosystem:
- Andrew Jasudasen, Chief Sustainability & Sustainable Investments Officer at CapitaLand Investment
- Eric Lim Jin Huei, Chief Sustainability Officer at UOB Group
- Lee Kok Kin, Group Chief Executive Officer at Cora Environment
- Lim Tuang Liang, Government Chief Sustainability Officer at the Ministry of Sustainability and the Environment
Drawing on perspectives spanning investment, finance, business operations and public policy, the discussion examined why sustainability has struggled to maintain urgency, what makes its business case resilient through changing market cycles, and how leaders can translate sustainability ambitions into meaningful action within their organisations.
Fellows were also invited to take part through a live “hot seat” format, stepping into the discussion to challenge ideas, share perspectives and connect the conversation back to their own leadership contexts.

Andrew Jasudasen
Chief Sustainability & Sustainable Investments Officer, CapitaLand Investments
Andrew Jasudasen is Chief Sustainability & Sustainable Investments Officer at CapitaLand Investment (CLI), where he leads the Group’s sustainability strategy and its integration across business and operations.
He also oversees CLI’s sustainable real assets investments, including renewable energy and sustainable infrastructure.
Andrew brings more than 17 years of experience in infrastructure private equity across energy and utilities, transport and social infrastructure. Prior to joining CLI, he spent over eight years at Lightsource bp, most recently as Head of APAC for M&A and Structured Finance, where he led more than US$1 billion in transactions across Australia, New Zealand and Taiwan. His experience spans multiple markets across Asia, the US and Latin America.

Eric Lim Jin Huei
Chief Sustainability Officer, UOB Group
Eric Lim Jin Huei is UOB Group’s first Chief Sustainability Officer, leading the Bank’s sustainability strategy and efforts to support businesses and individuals in their transition towards a more sustainable future.
He also chairs UOB’s Group Sustainability Committee and is a member of the Bank’s Management Committee.
Eric has more than 20 years of experience in finance. Before taking on his current role in 2021, he headed UOB’s Group Finance function, with responsibilities spanning financial strategy, capital management, regulatory reporting and business performance. Prior to UOB, he held senior finance roles at Standard Chartered Bank and began his career with GE Capital, working across multiple international markets.

Lee Kok Kin
Group Chief Executive Officer, Cora Environment
Lee Kok Kin is Group Chief Executive Officer of Cora Environment, where he oversees the company’s operations and strategic growth across waste management, resource recovery, recycling and Energy-from-Waste solutions in Singapore.
An engineer by training, Kok Kin brings more than 25 years of experience, predominantly in the energy sector. Prior to Cora Environment, he held roles at Singapore Power spanning electricity and gas operations and maintenance, risk management and corporate planning. He also serves as Chairman of the Waste Management and Recycling Association of Singapore (WMRAS), where he contributes to the development of Singapore’s environmental services and circular economy ecosystem.

Lim Tuang Liang
Government Chief Sustainability Officer, Ministry of Sustainability & the Environment
Lim Tuang Liang is Singapore’s Government Chief Sustainability Officer and Deputy Secretary (Special Duties) at the Ministry of Sustainability and the Environment.
He coordinates sustainability efforts across the public sector, including strategies under the Singapore Green Plan 2030 and GreenGov.SG, while working with businesses, civil society and communities to advance Singapore’s wider sustainability agenda.
Prior to his current appointment, Tuang Liang held leadership roles across the Singapore Armed Forces, Ministry of Defence, National Research Foundation and the public sector’s science and technology ecosystem. He began his career as a fighter pilot in the Republic of Singapore Air Force and later served as Chief-of-Staff, Joint Staff, bringing a broad perspective spanning leadership, technology, public policy and sustainability.
