Podcast and Playbook:
Leading Change Through Communication

Published 5 September 2026

Effective communication becomes especially important when organisations are navigating disruption, transformation and uncertainty.

Created as part of the SGLN Fellowship 2026 Action Learning Project, Leading Change Through Communication explores how leaders can communicate change in ways that build trust, create alignment and sustain momentum across cultures, generations and geographies.

The project draws on the lived experiences of senior leaders to explore one central question:

How do we lead global and regional change effectively through communication?

The project comprises a two-part podcast series and playbook.

EPISODE 1

Navigating Organisational Change

How do leaders build trust, alignment and momentum through major organisational change?

Hosted by Manisha Seewal, Group President, Redhill Communications, this conversation brings together Suresh Sundararajan, CEO & Co-Founder, Mindsprint, and Ivin Lim, CFO, Asia Pacific, Arup.

Drawing on transformations spanning acquisitions, restructures, new corporate identities and regional integration, they share practical lessons on communicating through uncertainty, responding to employee feedback, identifying champions for change and adapting leadership communication across diverse cultures.

EPISODE 2

Talking Across Generations

How do leaders communicate across generations, cultures and hierarchies during periods of major organisational change?

Hosted by Malik Badaruddin, this conversation brings together Geraldine Chin, former Managing Director & Chairman, ExxonMobil Asia Pacific, and Delicia Tan, CEO, Edelman Singapore, Hong Kong & Taiwan.

Against the backdrop of Singapore’s Merger and Separation story, they explore the hard leadership choices behind change — navigating competing generations and cultures, making space for dissent, learning across hierarchy, and knowing when to persevere, or when to walk away.

Drawing on their leadership experiences, they share practical reflections on building trust, creating psychological safety, using reverse mentoring, and communicating through uncertainty.
