Singapore Leaders Network
1st Anniversary Celebration

Celebrating a year of Learning, Leading, and Linking

Event

About The Event

Join us as we celebrate the first year anniversary of the Singapore Leaders Network (SGLN). As we close off the past year and prepare for an even stronger year ahead, we want to take the evening to reflect on the significance of our mission, reaffirming our commitment to preparing Singaporeans for global leadership roles.

For this first anniversary, it is only fitting that we bring in one of the most prominent Singaporean business leaders, Mr. Ho Kwon Ping, Founder and Executive Chairman of Banyan Tree Holdings, to share his valuable personal insights. Following his keynote, we will be joined by Ms. Jacqueline Poh, Managing Director of Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB) and Mr. Christopher Ong, SVP & Managing Director of DHL Express (Singapore) for a moderated panel discussion.

Together, we will delve into why it is paramount for more Singaporeans to take on global leadership roles, what it takes to be effective global leaders, learn to use our unique cultural and educational upbringing to our advantage in the international arena, and be inspired to take on greater leadership responsibilities. We will also take the opportunity to recognise our dedicated SGLN community members, ambassadors, mentors and mentees who have supported SGLN's remarkable progress over the past year.

We aspire to help advance the social capital of Singaporean corporate leaders who can support one another on their professional and personal leadership journeys - whilst cultivating a vibrant and robust community. This is achieved through activities that enable members to learn, lead, and link including through large scale in-person events, smaller business networking sessions on various topics of interest, a structured mentoring programme, an Ambassador programme, as well as an online LinkedIn community.
